“When persons unite as professing members with a local United Methodist Church, they profess their faith in God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth; in Jesus Christ his only Son; and in the Holy Spirit. Thus, they make known their desire to live their daily lives as disciples of Jesus Christ.”
The Book of Discipline, paragraph 217

All baptized Christians can seek membership in the United Methodist Church. Faithful membership in the local church is essential for personal growth and for developing a deeper commitment in our relationship with God. When one becomes a member, he or she is expected to enter into the ministry and fellowship of Christ’s Church along with other believers.

Membership classes are held regularly by the pastor so that prospective members can learn about the nature and work of this particular congregation. Contact us for more information.
